So I was sitting there, playing Disgaea 3, when Pat messages me and she’s all, “PROPHET YOU’LL LOVE THIS MANGA 4-KOMA IT HAS TSUNDERE THAT’S JUST LIKE YOU”. Moment I saw “tsundere” I was like, “fuck that shit” and ignored her. But as we all know, Pat’s a persistent thing that just WOULD NOT go away. So to shut her up, I read “Houkago Play”. It was cute, as far as leg-fetish comics go. But I noticed that Despair Works had PSP versions of the manga. Personally, I never bothered since I always carry my laptop…and the PSP’s nde’s anyways. So I asked nde, “Yo, do you ever use the PSP for comic reading?” He says, “All the time.” Then I asked Pat, “Do you use your PSP for comic reading?” She says, “Of course!” Finally, I asked Funny. He never bothered to reply, that fuckface. So I asked nde another question: “Isn’t it shit all crammed up like that?” “No,” he says. “I just have to resize them all in PS. A bit tedious.” “Wait, did you resize our own stuff yet?” “I will. It takes a long time.”

And that’s how I ended up deciding we’d include PSP versions with all comic releases from now on. Sorry, not going to do artbooks; they’re hideously large res for a reason, you know. For starters though: Tsukasa Jun’s “Tsukasa Bullet 2001″ and Kusai’s “Not Enough Sadness in Love”. Risque artbook/comic for the guys, boys love for the girls. Nothing for the androgynes; we’ll get there.

If you want updates on when the other old releases like “One Day” will be PSPified, you’ll have to check the forums because I have no idea when it’ll happen. Funny’s got those PSDs so it’s his court. Resized to base 480 width so it’s to be viewed regular widescreen; that’s how nde reads. Yeah, I’m spoiling the kid, whatever. Oh, there’s never going to be DS releases because I’ve actually tried to read comics off that…like hell I’m doing that again. Let’s just save it for Etrian, yo.

prophet edit: So after I announced this, nde told Funny, who then started resizing everything right away. Ink walks in while he’s doing it and he’s like, “Why?” “PSP viewable!” Ink doesn’t say a thing for a beat and says, “What about those other releases?” Funny just gives his trademark “Haaaaa?” “If you resize them all like that, they won’t be fine for one hand.” Funny looks at Ink in this incredulous way and finally goes, “BOLLOCKS! It’s fine for me!”

Once this got relayed to me, I felt it’s best to ask all of you. For CERTAIN “randy” releases…do you want us to make them viewable vertical? If so, which way: clockwise or counter? If you have no idea what we’re talking about, refer to Despair Works’ Houkago Play and they way they did it. See, nde’s not going to read porn on his PSP, Pat can go to hell, Funny’s widescreen, and I don’t care. If no one says anything, we’re just going to leave it widescreen view.
